I bought this for my daughter to acknowledge that black is beautiful, to love herself the way she is and to promote her beautiful African heritage.

This product is very desirable for those parents raising beautiful black girls, something to play with, braid their hairs and learn the contours of the body and they can relate to the doll.

I like the more realistic facial features and hairstyles. I like the clothes too -- though I hope you will also offer traditional West African outfits. I especially like them with headwraps.

My daughter absolutely LOVES this doll. She said that everything from her fancy clothes and shoes to her big beautiful curly hair made it her favorite doll. She also loved reading the insert about the Queen. She now wants all three dolls! I am so glad I found this doll for her, it's excellent quality and absolutely worth the price.

I preordered and it was well-worth the wait. The new look and detail are great. I plan to collect them all for myself and let my nieces pick out one as well.
